I'm a singer, songwriter and vocal coach from Melbourne, Australia. I LOVE Music!!! I am crazy about Soul, Funk music by the legends Nina Simone, James Brown, Aretha, Stevie just to name a few.
I remind myself everyday to enjoy life as it were my last days. I want to turn my dreams into reality - such as traveling to Europe in style with Wayne and making loads of awesome songs of any genre I'm feelin at any given time. I also love food!
I was born in Manila's worst area, Tondo, and I believe that this is why I can be pretty fierce when put in a situation. We moved to Melbourne in 88 which has actually toned me down a bit. This city is practically heaven compared to Tondo. The day we arrived, I instantly felt at home.

Hi :) I have a couple of questions about my voice. I'm 15 years old, and I can tell my voice isn't fully mature yet. But I still feel like I don't sound as good as I used to, as weird as that sounds. Is there any reasoning behind it/anything I can do about it? Also, my second question is, can humming(especially high notes) too much strain your voice?

Thanks for hitting me up.
A quick answer to your first question is - Just let your body go through the changes as this is completely normal. You will need to keep practicing the CORRECT way to adapt to these changes. Don’t ever strain your voice and never stop practicing daily. Ten minutes a day of easy scales/hum/lip trills are better than no practice at all.
